Welcome to Pharma Journal. These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern your use of the Pharma Journal website located at pharma-journal.com ("Platform"), including all content, services, and functionality offered through the Platform.
By accessing or using our Platform, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree to these Terms, you must not use the Platform. These Terms constitute a legally binding agreement between you and Pharma Journal (operated by Teksyte LTD), a company registered in England & Wales. If you are accessing or using the Platform on behalf of a business, partnership, company or other entity, you represent and warrant that you have full authority to bind that entity to these Terms.
The Platform is an online business directory and editorial publication for the pharmaceutical and life-sciences industry. It lists third-party companies (manufacturers, CDMOs, CROs, biotechnology firms, clinics, suppliers and service providers) that have registered with us, submitted information to us, or that we have identified through publicly available sources. We are not a broker, agent, intermediary, introducer, guarantor or fiduciary for any listed company, and we do not conduct, endorse, underwrite, insure or supervise any transaction, engagement or interaction between a User and a listed company.
Listings are provided "as is" on a good-faith basis. Company descriptions, contact details, capabilities, certifications, accreditations and service claims are supplied by the listed company or drawn from third-party sources and may change without notice. You acknowledge that you rely on any listing at your own risk and that any contractual or commercial relationship you enter into with a listed company is strictly between you and that company.
Inclusion in the directory does not imply that the Company has verified the regulatory status, licences, GMP/GDP certification, ISO accreditation, insurance, financial standing or business practices of a listed company. Users are encouraged to perform their own due diligence — including verification with the MHRA, EMA, FDA or other competent authority — before entering into any engagement.
All Content on the Platform — including articles on clinical trials, drug development, treatments, regulatory affairs and market analysis — is published for general information and industry-news purposes only. It does not constitute, and must not be relied upon as, medical advice, clinical guidance, diagnosis or treatment recommendations; regulatory or legal advice; or investment, financial or professional advice of any kind.
Nothing on the Platform is intended to promote any medicinal product, nor to be an advertisement for a prescription-only medicine within the meaning of the Human Medicines Regulations 2012 or the ABPI Code of Practice. References to products, molecules, therapies or trial results are editorial in nature.
Always consult a qualified healthcare professional on medical matters, a qualified regulatory professional on compliance matters, and an authorised financial adviser on investment matters. The Company accepts no liability for decisions taken in reliance on Content published on the Platform.
You agree to use the Platform only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms. You must not:

By submitting User Content to the Platform, you grant the Company a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free, transferable, sub-licensable licence to use, reproduce, adapt, publish, translate, create derivative works from, distribute, perform and display that User Content on the Platform and in any media now known or later developed, for the purposes of operating, promoting and improving the Platform, including marketing, social-media promotion of your Listing, and syndication to partner directories.
This licence survives termination of your account in respect of (a) content already distributed or cached by third parties, and (b) archival and backup copies necessary to operate the Platform. You may request removal of specific User Content by emailing info@pharma-journal.com; we will act on reasonable requests within 30 days.
Images displayed on the Platform fall into three categories, each with distinct rights and disclaimers:

The listed company warrants to us that they own or have properly licensed all rights in those images, including rights from photographers, subjects, brand owners and other rights-holders. The Company is not in a position to independently verify these rights and expressly disclaims responsibility for their accuracy. If you are a rights-holder and believe an image has been published on the Platform without your permission, please follow the takedown procedure in Section 10 below.
(b) Third-party stock or editorial images. Hero images, category tiles and illustrative imagery may be sourced from licensed stock libraries (e.g. Unsplash, Shutterstock) or obtained under editorial fair-dealing exceptions of the Copyright, Designs and Patents Act 1988. Where attribution is required by the applicable licence, credit is provided on the same page or in the image caption.

We reserve the right to remove any listing that violates these Terms, contains inaccurate information, or is deemed inappropriate for our platform. Listing holders may request removal of their listing by contacting us in writing.

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes arising under or in connection with these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales. Nothing in these Terms shall affect your statutory rights as a consumer under applicable UK law.
In the event of a dispute arising from or relating to these Terms, both parties agree to first attempt to resolve the matter through good-faith negotiation. If the dispute cannot be resolved informally within 30 days, either party may commence formal proceedings.
